CPR and first aid training
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation programs are the most popular courses we offer to trainees in Calgary, Alberta. CPR is given to victims who have fallen unconscious because of cardiac arrest. Cardiac arrest happens when the heart stops working because there is not enough blood supplying it with oxygen, typically during a heart attack.
CPR training teaches students how to perform chest compressions, give rescue breaths, and use automated external defibrillators (AEDs). Basic first aid is also included in all the programs (unless stated), that teach trainees basic first aid skills such as wound care.
